Morinda Supreme contains Morinda Citrifolia, also known as noni, which has been used for hundreds of years throughout Polynesia for a variety of conditions. Morinda Citrifolia is an evergreen plant that bears fleshy greenish/yellow fruit. It is cultivated in Hawaii and other Polynesian islands.
Clinical studies have shown that Morinda Citrifolia has anti fungal, parasitic, viral and bacterial properties. It is a very broad spectrum anti microbial for a great range of these types of bugs. Research has suggested that it is beneficial for gastro intestinal conditions, acute and chronic infections of the respiratory system, and genital/urinary systems and many other infections. Morinda Citrifolia has also been used as an immune building product.
Morinda Citrifolia is a good preventative for travelers visiting tropical climates. It has also been shown to aid with food poisoning (prevention and treatment).
Many noni juice products on the market are greatly diluted with other fruit juices to mask the taste. Most Morinda Citrifolia products have been put through a fermentation process that the producers feel enhances the product. Supreme Nutrition feels it does the opposite. Most Morinda Citrifolia is either in pasteurized juice form or a capsule combining the leaves and fruit. We believe the raw powdered fruit without the leaves is the best form. Some of the Hawaiian Morinda Citrifolia is grown downwind of Kilauea volcano and we believe this could contaminate it with toxic materials that are in the vog (volcanic fog).
